Description
Centurion Labz God of Fire
A thermogenic pre-workout — built for training in a deficit, fasted cardio and cutting phases. 350mg of caffeine alongside a stimulant and thermogenic matrix, 25 servings, fully disclosed.
⚠ Start at half a scoop, and never exceed one scoop in 24 hours. Centurion are direct about this and so are we.
⚠ Why the caffeine number understates this product
This is the most important thing on the page, and it corrects an easy mistake.
God of Fire carries 350mg of caffeine, which is lower than God of War at 450mg. It does not follow that it is a gentler product.
Caffeine is simply the ingredient that is easiest to measure and compare. Perceived intensity comes from the whole stimulant matrix, and God of Fire carries several ingredients that hit hard at small doses:
- Isopropylnorsynephrine — a synephrine derivative sometimes described as a modern alternative to DMHA. Strong energy and mood effects, with genuine thermogenic activity
- Yohimbine HCl, and related alkaloids such as quebrachine — alpha-2 antagonists, potent in milligrams rather than hundreds of milligrams
- Theobromine — caffeine's longer-acting relative from cocoa, which smooths and extends the curve
- Huperzine A — inhibits acetylcholinesterase, contributing to the focus rather than the stimulation
Judge a pre-workout by its whole label, not by the caffeine figure alone. A product at 350mg with four additional stimulants can feel considerably stronger than one at 450mg with none.
What "thermogenic" actually means here
God of Fire is a different tool from the rest of the Centurion range rather than a weaker version of it.
The thermogenic side is genuinely present, and one ingredient explains the effect people notice most:
GBB (gamma-butyrobetaine) is a precursor your body converts into carnitine. It is also the reason for the single most commonly reported experience with this product — sweating heavily, sometimes for hours after the session has finished.
That is expected rather than alarming. If you have read a review describing someone still sweating after showering, GBB is why. Some people find it satisfying and some find it genuinely unpleasant, which is worth knowing before you buy a tub rather than after.
Vitamin B3 (niacin) can add a flushing sensation on top of that — warmth and skin reddening. Also harmless, also worth expecting.
⚠ Take it fasted, and understand why
Alpha-2 antagonists such as yohimbine work best on an empty stomach. Alpha-2 receptors act as a brake on fat release, and stubborn areas carry more of them. Yohimbine blocks that brake — but insulin blunts the effect substantially, so food undermines the mechanism you are paying for.
That is why this pairs naturally with fasted morning cardio, and why it suits a cutting phase more than a bulk.
⚠ And yohimbine is the ingredient most likely to cause problems. Anxiety, racing heart, elevated blood pressure and nausea are all commonly reported, particularly in anyone already stimulant-sensitive. If you have anxiety, avoid this product. Yohimbine has been used in research specifically to provoke anxiety responses.
The Centurion range — three different jobs
| Blood Rush | 0mg caffeine | Stim-free pump. Stacks with anything |
| Nemesis | 0mg caffeine | Stim-free pump and focus |
| God of Fire | 350mg + thermogenics | Cutting, fasted cardio, fat loss |
| God of Rage UNCHAINED | 425mg, multi-stim | Physical energy and drive |
| God of War | 450mg | Highest caffeine of the three |
These are not rungs on a ladder. They are three stimulant products built for different purposes. If you are cutting, God of Fire is the relevant one regardless of what the caffeine numbers say.
Founded in Langhorne, Pennsylvania — the same town, the same year
Centurion Labz was started by two doctors in Langhorne, PA in 2014 — inside a local gym. Coalition Nutrition opened in Langhorne in 2014 too.
Same town, same year. The brand grew from that one gym to other gyms, then independent shops, then international distribution. It was acquired in 2020 by Trevor Bower, who found it at the Arnold Sports Festival in 2016.
Worth noting what they say themselves: Centurion tell customers to start at half a serving, never exceed one scoop in 24 hours, and avoid running multiple stimulant products in the same day. A brand telling you to take less of its own product is unusual, and it is one reason we still stock them. Every batch is third-party tested and every formula is fully disclosed.

How to take it
- Half a scoop in 6 to 12oz of water, 30 minutes before training.
- One full scoop once you know how you respond. Never more than one in 24 hours.
- Fasted, if the fat loss side is why you are buying it.
- Morning or early afternoon only. Not within six hours of bed.
- Nothing else with stimulants that day — no fat burner, no energy drink, and count your coffee.
- Eat afterwards. Centurion recommend a post-workout meal, and in a deficit that matters more than usual.
- Expect to sweat. That is the GBB.
Who this is for
- Anyone in a cutting phase who trains hard and wants stimulants and thermogenics in one product
- People doing fasted morning cardio
- Experienced stimulant users, not beginners
- Anyone who would otherwise run a pre-workout and a separate fat burner — this replaces both, which keeps your daily stimulant total under control
- Customers who want a fully disclosed label from a brand that started in Langhorne
Who this is not for
⚠ Anyone with anxiety. The yohimbine makes this among the most likely products on our shelves to trigger it.
Anyone with high blood pressure or a heart condition, without speaking to a doctor first.
Beginners. Start at 200mg and work up over months.
Anyone already taking a fat burner. Most contain yohimbine or rauwolscine, and stacking the same mechanism is where problems occur.
Anyone who dislikes sweating. Said plainly, because the GBB effect is pronounced and it surprises people.
Anyone bulking. The thermogenic side is doing nothing useful for you — God of War or God of Rage fit better.
⚠ Tested athletes. Yohimbine and synephrine derivatives appear on prohibited lists. Check your federation's list before touching this.
Anyone training in the evening. Anyone on mood or blood pressure medication, without medical advice. Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing.
Stack it with: Blood Rush if you want a real pump, since a stimulant-heavy formula works against that. And creatine daily, which preserves muscle while you diet.
Frequently asked questions
Is God of Fire weaker than God of War?
It has less caffeine, at 350mg against 450mg, but it is not a gentler product. Perceived intensity comes from the whole stimulant matrix, and God of Fire carries isopropylnorsynephrine, yohimbine, theobromine and huperzine A alongside the caffeine.
Why does it make me sweat so much?
GBB. It is a carnitine precursor and heavy sweating is its most commonly reported effect, sometimes continuing for hours after training. Expected rather than alarming, though some people find it genuinely unpleasant.
Should I take it fasted?
Yes, if fat loss is why you bought it. Insulin blunts the alpha-2 mechanism that yohimbine works through, so food substantially reduces the effect.
Why do I feel flushed?
The niacin. Warmth and skin reddening are harmless and pass.
How much should I take?
Half a scoop to start, one full scoop once you know how you respond, and never more than one scoop in 24 hours.
Can I take it with a fat burner?
No. Most fat burners contain yohimbine or rauwolscine, and doubling the same mechanism is where anxiety and racing heart come from.
Which Centurion pre-workout should I buy?
God of Fire if you are cutting or doing fasted cardio. God of War or God of Rage if you are not — they are built for output rather than fat loss.
Can tested athletes use it?
No. Yohimbine and synephrine derivatives appear on prohibited lists.
Good focus, good energy and good pump but I’m not sure what ingredient it is but something in it will make you sweat hours after you’ve come home and showered. I tried it twice and poured it in the trash so that I wouldn’t be tempted to take it again lol I’m talking sweat pouring off me long after the workout was done. However it Could be my chemistry and not that way for everyone
