Description
InnovaPharm MVPre 365
10 grams of pure L-citrulline, 3.2g beta-alanine, and a full nootropic stack — at a deliberately moderate 250mg of caffeine. Fully disclosed label, no proprietary blends.
The name is the clue: 365 is built to be taken every day. That is a different design brief from a product built to hit as hard as possible, and it explains every choice in the formula.
365 or MVPre 3.0?
This is the question worth answering first, because InnovaPharm make both and they are aimed at different jobs.
| MVPre 365 | MVPre 3.0 | |
| Caffeine | 250mg | 350mg |
| L-Citrulline | 10g pure | 10g pure |
| Beta-Alanine | 3.2g | 3.2g |
| Extra stimulants | Theobromine only | Includes eria jarensis |
| Nootropics | Citicoline, NALCAR, tyrosine, huperzine | Present, less extensive |
| Tested athletes | No exotic stimulants | Not suitable — eria jarensis |
| Built for | Every session | Sessions that warrant it |
The pump side is identical — both carry 10g of pure citrulline and 3.2g of beta-alanine. You are not giving up performance dosing by choosing 365.
What changes is the stimulant profile. 3.0 runs 100mg more caffeine plus eria jarensis; 365 keeps caffeine moderate and puts the extra weight into focus ingredients instead.
Our honest recommendation: if you train four or more times a week, 365 is the more sensible tub to live in. Save the stronger product for the sessions that genuinely warrant it — that way it still works when you reach for it.
Why 250mg is a feature, not a compromise
The industry has spent a decade escalating caffeine, and 250mg now reads as modest. It should not.
250mg is a proper working dose — around two and a half cups of coffee, comfortably above the 200mg most energy drinks carry, and enough to produce a genuine performance effect.
What it also does is leave you somewhere to go. Tolerance to caffeine builds with regular use. If your daily pre-workout is 400mg, within months you need more than 400mg to feel anything, and there is very little above that which is sensible. Running 250mg daily keeps a stronger product effective when you want it.
And it leaves room in your day. 250mg is well inside the 400mg the FDA cites for healthy adults, so a coffee in the morning is not a problem.
Theobromine at 100mg supports this. It is the mild stimulant found in cocoa, with a gentler and considerably longer curve than caffeine — it extends the back half rather than sharpening the peak.
10g of pure citrulline — and one genuine caveat
This is among the highest citrulline doses available anywhere, and it is pure L-citrulline, not citrulline malate. To match it with the malate form you would need roughly 20g on the label.
The researched range for pump and endurance is 6 to 8g, so 10g is generous rather than merely adequate.
The caveat is worth knowing, and almost nobody mentions it. For long endurance sessions, 10g of citrulline may be more than you want. Substantial vasodilation over an extended cardio effort can produce tissue swelling that is uncomfortable and can work against you.
If you are an endurance athlete, use half a scoop. You still get 5g of citrulline and 125mg of caffeine, which is plenty for that use. This is one of the few cases where more of a good ingredient is not automatically better.
The focus stack is the most complete on our shelf
This is where 365 puts the weight it takes out of the stimulants, and the ingredients work together rather than simply stacking up:
- Citicoline (CDP-choline), 250mg — supplies choline for acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter behind attention and muscle contraction. Also a precursor for phosphatidylcholine, a structural component of neuronal membranes
- Huperzine A, 150mcg (from 15mg of 1% standardised extract) — slows acetylcholine breakdown. Paired with citicoline this is genuinely complementary: one supplies the raw material, the other slows its clearance
- L-Tyrosine, 1,500mg — precursor to dopamine and noradrenaline, researched specifically for maintaining cognitive performance under stress and sleep deprivation. A substantial dose, and you will notice it most on a bad night's sleep
- N-Acetyl L-Carnitine, 1,000mg — the acetylated form crosses the blood-brain barrier, which plain L-carnitine does not. That is precisely why it appears here rather than in a fat burner
Consider cycling the huperzine A rather than running it continuously — it has a long half-life and most people do better with breaks.

The 500mg of pink Himalayan salt is a smarter inclusion than it looks. Sodium is the primary electrolyte governing fluid balance, and adequate sodium supports both muscular contraction and the fluid shifts that produce a pump. Most pre-workouts ignore electrolytes entirely.
Honest note on glucuronolactone: it is a common energy drink ingredient and the human research is thin. It is not doing much here, and it is not the reason to buy the product.
A 23g scoop is a lot of material
Worth applying the test from our 110 Percent page: active ingredients have mass, and a 23g scoop can physically hold 10g of citrulline plus 3.2g of beta-alanine plus everything else. A 10g scoop could not.
Scoop weight is one of the quickest sanity checks available on any pre-workout.
How to take it
- One rounded scoop in 10 to 16oz of water, 15 to 30 minutes before training. InnovaPharm suggest an empty stomach.
- Start with half a scoop to assess tolerance.
- Half a scoop if you do long endurance sessions. See the citrulline caveat above.
- Never more than one scoop in 24 hours.
- Take it consistently if the beta-alanine matters — carnosine builds over two to four weeks.
- Take creatine separately. There is none in this formula.
Who this is for
- Anyone training four or more times a week who wants one pre-workout they can use every session
- People who want maximum pump dosing without maximum stimulants
- Anyone whose caffeine tolerance has crept up and wants to reset it while still training hard
- People who value focus and mind-muscle connection as much as energy
- Anyone avoiding exotic stimulants
- Those who want a fully disclosed label they can check
Who this is not for
If you specifically want a high-stimulant experience, this is deliberately not that. MVPre 3.0 at 350mg or DEFY at 450mg are the stronger options.
Endurance athletes should use half a scoop — 10g of citrulline is more than a long cardio session wants.
If you dislike the beta-alanine tingle, 3.2g is a full dose and you will feel it.
If you are buying it for glucuronolactone, the evidence is thin.
Tested athletes: no banned-substance certification is listed, though the absence of exotic stimulants makes this a far safer starting point than most. Check the current label.
Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing.
Stack it with: creatine. It needs nothing else — 10g of citrulline is already a full pump dose.
Frequently asked questions
Is MVPre 365 the same as MVPre 3.0?
No. Both carry 10g of pure citrulline and 3.2g beta-alanine, but 365 runs 250mg of caffeine with an extensive nootropic stack and no exotic stimulants, while 3.0 runs 350mg and includes eria jarensis.
Is the citrulline pure or malate?
Pure L-citrulline at 10g, despite some retailers describing it as citrulline malate. To match this with the malate form you would need around 20g.
Is 250mg of caffeine enough?
Yes — roughly two and a half cups of coffee, and a proper working dose. Keeping it moderate also preserves your tolerance so a stronger product still works when you want one.
Can I take it every day?
That is what it is designed for. The moderate caffeine and absence of exotic stimulants make daily use reasonable in a way a 450mg product is not.
Is 10g of citrulline ever too much?
For long endurance sessions, possibly — significant vasodilation over extended cardio can cause uncomfortable tissue swelling. Use half a scoop in that case.
How much huperzine A is in it?
150 micrograms, from 15mg of Huperzia serrata extract standardised to 1%. Consider cycling it rather than taking it continuously.
Why citicoline and huperzine together?
Citicoline supplies choline for acetylcholine production; huperzine slows acetylcholine breakdown. One adds raw material, the other slows clearance.
Does it contain creatine?
No. Take creatine separately and daily, including rest days.
