Description
Project AD AD1 Greens
AD1 is not really a greens powder. It is an all-in-one built around greens, with collagen, colostrum, MSM, hyaluronic acid, adaptogenic mushrooms, shilajit, sea moss and probiotics alongside them — over 35 ingredients in one 14.2g scoop.
Understanding that is the key to whether it makes sense for you.
What is actually in it
Rejuvenation Blend, 3,000mg — this is the largest blend and the reason the product exists:
- Hydrolysed collagen peptides (bovine) — for skin, joints and connective tissue
- MSM — a sulphur compound studied for joint comfort
- Colostrum (from milk) — the first milk produced after birth, rich in immunoglobulins and growth factors
- Hyaluronic acid — for joint and skin hydration
- D-Biotin
Supercharged Greens Blend, 2,000mg — spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, barley grass, kale, dandelion and moringa.
Fruits and Vegetables Blend, 2,000mg — carrot, kelp, beet, spinach, ginger, pineapple, blueberry, broccoli extract 10:1, celery seed 4:1 and artichoke standardised to 5% cynarin.
Plus an adaptogen blend of ashwagandha, lion's mane, reishi and cordyceps, alongside shilajit, sea moss, elderberry, berberine, fibre and pre/probiotics.
The all-in-one argument, honestly assessed
The case for a product like this is real: if you would otherwise buy a greens powder, a collagen, an adaptogen blend and a probiotic separately, one scoop covering all of them is cheaper and far more likely to be taken consistently.
The trade is dose. Thirty-five-plus ingredients in a 14.2g scoop means the named blends account for around 7,000mg, and everything else shares what remains. Some ingredients are necessarily present in modest amounts.
Compare that to a standalone collagen at 10 to 20 grams per serving, or a dedicated ashwagandha at 600mg. If you want a clinical dose of any single ingredient here, a standalone product will give you more of it.
Our honest read: AD1 is a breadth product. Buy it because you want many things covered adequately in one drink, not because you want any one of them maximally dosed. That is a legitimate reason and it is how most people actually use a product like this.
⚠ Berberine — check this before you buy
AD1 contains berberine, and that carries real interactions.
Berberine affects the CYP450 enzyme system that metabolises a wide range of prescription drugs, and its blood-glucose-lowering effect is additive with diabetes medication. Someone taking metformin alongside berberine can end up lower than intended.
We are flagging this prominently because nobody expects to find berberine in a greens drink. If you take any prescription medication — particularly for blood sugar — speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this. Ask us in the store too.
⚠ Allergens: milk and tree nuts
This is not vegan or vegetarian. The collagen is bovine and the colostrum is milk-derived.
It also contains tree nuts (coconut).
Most greens powders are plant-based, so people reasonably assume any greens product is. This one is not, and someone vegan or with a dairy or tree nut allergy needs to know that before the tub is opened.

Which of our greens products should you buy?
| AD1 Greens | All-in-one — greens plus collagen, adaptogens, probiotics | Replacing several supplements |
| Opti-Greens 50 | Largest greens dose, NSF Certified for Sport | Tested athletes |
| Jocko Greens | Fully disclosed doses, no artificial sweeteners | Label readers |
| Revive Daily Greens | Fibre-forward, best value | Daily habit on a budget |
AD1 is the only one of the four that is not primarily a greens powder. If greens are what you want, one of the other three does that job with a larger greens dose. If you want to consolidate several supplements into one scoop, AD1 is the reason to choose it.
How to take it
- One scoop (14.2g) in cold water or a beverage of choice, daily.
- With food if your stomach is sensitive, particularly in the first week.
- Give it weeks. Collagen, adaptogens and probiotics all build over time rather than acting acutely.
- Check for overlap before adding a separate collagen, adaptogen or probiotic on top.
Who this is for
- Anyone currently buying greens, collagen, an adaptogen and a probiotic separately who wants to consolidate
- People who want joint and skin support alongside greens
- Anyone who values one scoop they will actually take over four they will not
- People who want adaptogens and functional mushrooms without a separate product
Who this is not for
Anyone taking prescription medication, particularly for blood sugar, without checking the berberine first.
Vegans and vegetarians. Bovine collagen and milk colostrum.
Anyone with a dairy or tree nut allergy.
If you want the largest greens dose, the other three products all deliver more greens per serving.
If you want a clinical dose of collagen specifically, a standalone at 10 to 20g gives you far more than the share available here.
Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing.
Stack it with: not much. The point is that it replaces things rather than joining them. Check overlap before adding anything.
Frequently asked questions
Is AD1 Greens vegan?
No. It contains bovine collagen peptides and milk-derived colostrum. It also contains tree nuts (coconut).
Does it contain berberine?
Yes, and that matters. Berberine affects the CYP450 enzyme system that metabolises many prescription drugs, and its blood-glucose-lowering effect is additive with diabetes medication. Speak to your doctor if you take anything prescribed.
How is it different from a normal greens powder?
It is an all-in-one rather than a greens product. The largest blend is the 3,000mg Rejuvenation Blend of collagen, MSM, colostrum and hyaluronic acid — greens are 2,000mg.
Are all 35 ingredients meaningfully dosed?
No. In a 14.2g scoop with three blends totalling around 7,000mg plus everything else, some ingredients are necessarily present in modest amounts. It is a breadth product.
Can it replace my collagen supplement?
Only partially. A standalone collagen typically provides 10 to 20g per serving; the entire Rejuvenation Blend here is 3g and collagen is one of five ingredients in it.
What is colostrum?
The first milk produced after birth, rich in immunoglobulins and growth factors. It is a milk product, which is part of why this is not dairy free.
What adaptogens are in it?
Ashwagandha, lion's mane, reishi and cordyceps.
Should I buy this or a normal greens powder?
This if you want to consolidate several supplements into one scoop. A dedicated greens powder if greens are the actual goal — all three of our others carry a larger greens dose.
