SAINT Hydration is a 12 oz non-carbonated electrolyte drink built around a simple idea most hydration brands abandoned: electrolytes absorb better with a small amount of real sugar. Each can delivers 200mg sodium, 200mg potassium, 150mg chloride, and 50mg magnesium alongside 5g of organic agave and prickly pear juice, 200% daily vitamin C, and 50mg L-theanine. Thirty calories, zero caffeine, zero artificial anything. Available at Coalition Nutrition in all four flavors: Watermelon, Juicy Mango, Cucumber & Lime, and Fresh Pineapple.

Why the 5g of sugar is the point, not a compromise

Your small intestine absorbs sodium and glucose together through a shared transporter (SGLT1). One glucose molecule and two sodium ions move across the gut wall at the same time, and water follows them osmotically. This is the same mechanism behind oral rehydration solutions used in clinical settings. Strip the sugar out and you lose the carrier that pulls sodium, and therefore water, into circulation efficiently. SAINT keeps a small, deliberate dose of plant sugar from organic agave and prickly pear juice so the electrolytes actually get absorbed rather than passing through.

An electrolyte ratio sized for a normal day

200mg Sodium — The primary extracellular electrolyte and the one you lose most in sweat. 200mg sits in the middle ground: well above flavored waters (around 25mg) and well below endurance formulas (500mg+) designed for multi-hour efforts. For a workout, a hot afternoon, a flight, or the morning after, it replaces what you lose without over-salting a day where you're not sweating buckets.
200mg Potassium — The dominant intracellular electrolyte. Sodium and potassium work in opposition across cell membranes via the sodium-potassium pump, which is what drives nerve signaling and muscle contraction. Matching potassium to sodium 1:1 supports that balance instead of loading one side.
150mg Chloride — Sodium's counter-ion. Chloride maintains fluid balance and osmotic pressure between compartments and is required for proper stomach acid production. Most hydration drinks don't list it; SAINT doses it on purpose.
50mg Magnesium — A required cofactor for the sodium-potassium pump itself. Without adequate magnesium, the pump that moves the other electrolytes runs less efficiently. Magnesium is also depleted through sweat and is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions including ATP production.

The "+" in Electrolytes+

Prickly pear juice (betalains) — The base of the formula. Prickly pear cactus produces betalain pigments (betanin and indicaxanthin) that act as antioxidants, scavenging free radicals generated during exercise and heat stress. No coconut water, sports drink, or powder packet on the shelf has them.
179mg Vitamin C (200% DV) — Water-soluble antioxidant that regenerates other antioxidants in the body and supports immune function and collagen synthesis. Sweat and stress both increase vitamin C turnover.
50mg L-Theanine — An amino acid from tea that increases alpha brain-wave activity and supports calm, steady focus without sedation. Because SAINT has no caffeine, the theanine isn't there to smooth a stimulant; it's there to take the edge off a hard session, a long day, or a hangover.

Clean label

30 calories, 5g sugar per can
Organic ingredients, non-GMO, plant-based
Sweetened with organic agave and stevia; no artificial sweeteners
No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives
Non-carbonated, caffeine-free
Organic agave, sea salt, citric acid, and natural flavors round out the formula

Four flavors

Watermelon — Fresh-cut, cold, and clean. The most refreshing of the four and the easiest to drink fast after training.
Juicy Mango — Ripe tropical mango, full-bodied without being syrupy.
Cucumber & Lime — Cool cucumber with a sharp lime finish. Lightest and most spa-water of the lineup; the one to reach for when you don't want sweet.
Fresh Pineapple — Bright, tart-sweet pineapple. Pairs with the prickly pear base better than any other flavor.

Hydration drinks have historically tasted like a hint of a flavor. SAINT flavors taste like what the can says.

When to drink SAINT

Any time. No caffeine means nothing to schedule around. Pre-workout to top off sodium before a sweaty session, post-workout to replace what you lost, mid-afternoon when a headache is really dehydration, on a flight where cabin air pulls water out of you, or the morning after a few drinks when you're down fluid, sodium, and potassium all at once.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants electrolytes in a format that doesn't require mixing a packet and doesn't come loaded with sugar or artificial sweeteners. Lifters who want a post-session drink without caffeine. Runners and athletes on recovery days. Anyone who's tired of flavored water that does nothing and sports drinks that do too much.

FAQ

Does SAINT have caffeine?
No. SAINT is completely caffeine-free, so it works any time of day including before bed.

Why does it have sugar when other electrolyte drinks are zero-sugar?
Because sodium absorption in the gut is glucose-dependent. The 5g of plant sugar is the transport mechanism, not a flavoring decision. Thirty calories is the cost.

Is 200mg of sodium enough?
For daily hydration, a normal workout, or recovery, yes. If you're doing multi-hour endurance work in heat, pair it with a higher-sodium product or drink two.

Is it carbonated?
No. Still, so it goes down fast and sits easy during or after training.

Is SAINT plant-based and clean label?
Yes. Organic ingredients, non-GMO, no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, or preservatives.
